Camp Sabros 2017

Image
Last March, we went on a trip to Davao del Sur.  Davao Del Sur is just about 2-3 hours from Davao City. There are plenty of activities and sites to visit in the area. There's Camp Sabros and Den Yho's Garden to name a few.  Our first stop was in Lake Agco, which is part of Kidapawan, and then we had side trips at Camp Sabros and Den Yho's place.  Camp Sabros is located near the foot of Mt. Apo. You can get a view of the beautiful mountain from the place. It's a perfect place for taking pictures and team building as well. It also gives you the cold breeze of air, a perfect getaway for the hot summer days. Entrance fee is Php  20-25.  To get to the place, you need to trek around 750 meters uphill or you can ride horse or motorcycle for 50 pesos. We rode a horse on our way to the place. That's my mom. Riding the horse. hehe. They also have zip lines, cable cars and other amenities to enjoy. They also have packages which you can avail.  ...

Taklobo Tours 2017

I'm not really a big fan of beaches and oceans because of their salty taste and I've thought that I've explored all that Samal Island has to offer from beaches, island hopping, Hagimit falls, seeing dolphins and others. I was so used to Samal that it surprises me when people from other regions would see its white sand and are amazed by it when it's what I've always seen but wait there's more! There's still the rich underwater life of Samal and one way to explore it is through the Taklobo Tours. What is Taklobo? Taklobo is a local term for Giant Clams. These are one of the most endangered clam species and these clams can be seen in Samal and you can swim with them through Taklobo Tours. Taklobo Tours is located at Barangay Adecor at Island Garden City of Samal. It's around 30-45 minutes drive from the wharf.  We started our journey from Mahan Beach Resort at around 3 pm.  It was a bit late and we can say that the chances of us taking the tour dur...

Hagimit Falls 2016

My boyfriend and I love to travel and discover places, despite the lack of money. If we're not travelling, we go food tripping. So, on his birthday, we planned to go somewhere he has never been to which is near the city and affordable. Since I'm not really a fan of the sea because it's salty, I always liked falls. And because he has never been to Hagimit Falls, we decided to give it a go.  I've been to Hagimit Falls back in 2014 with my classmates. We used our classmate's car back then so I'm not really familiar with commuting to get to the area which we are going to do because we don't have a car. To get to the place, we first google how to get there. According to one blog we read, we can ride a bus to PeƱaplata, Samal Island and ride a habal-habal to get to Hagimit Falls. So we did. We left at 8:00 A.M. from our house which is situated in Maa, Davao City. We rode a jeepney which took us to Magsaysay. We arrived at the terminal at 8:40. The termina...
