Den Yho's Place 2017

Image
Den Yho's Place is one of the places to be visited if you're in Davao Del Sur. It's owned by renowned artist Kublai Milan. Kublai Milan is known for his artworks which can be seen in People's Park. :) The place is located in a cool place in the mountains, overlooking Mount Apo. It's a perfect place for unwinding and staying away from the stress of the city. The place has a swimming pool, a restaurant and the Agong's House. To get to the resort, you need to walk uphill from the gate. Picture picture while walking up. /kapoy friend. Hahaha The view from the top. Wow no? :) The swimming pool. :) The viewdeck The playground :) Behind the "Land of Peace" and the Agong's House. The trees to the Agong House. We didn't go to the Agong House anymore because we got tired of all the climbing we did to get to the place and from the Camp Sabros walk we had earlier.

Camp Sabros 2017

Image
Last March, we went on a trip to Davao del Sur.  Davao Del Sur is just about 2-3 hours from Davao City. There are plenty of activities and sites to visit in the area. There's Camp Sabros and Den Yho's Garden to name a few.  Our first stop was in Lake Agco, which is part of Kidapawan, and then we had side trips at Camp Sabros and Den Yho's place.  Camp Sabros is located near the foot of Mt. Apo. You can get a view of the beautiful mountain from the place. It's a perfect place for taking pictures and team building as well. It also gives you the cold breeze of air, a perfect getaway for the hot summer days. Entrance fee is Php  20-25.  To get to the place, you need to trek around 750 meters uphill or you can ride horse or motorcycle for 50 pesos. We rode a horse on our way to the place. That's my mom. Riding the horse. hehe. They also have zip lines, cable cars and other amenities to enjoy. They also have packages which you can avail.  ...

Pink House

I was really curious about this Pink House/Cafe which I have seen online and really wanted to pay a visit since January this year. I heard they have crazy shakes for an affordable price. I kept bugging my buddy but he said that we are not sure about the location, we might get lost. But one day, we went to SM Ecoland and on our way we passed by it and finally saw its location. I bugged him again and behold! We finally visited the place :) The place is not actually far from McArthur highway, here's a map: The place is not hard to see from Buffet palace, it's the first or only pink house you'll see from Buffet palace. Here's an info about the cafe: I was skeptic at first to get in because we came in at around 8:30 pm and surprisingly, there weren't much people around unlike in Kawaii Cafe. I actually thought they were already closed.  Before, we came inside we took selfies: There were lots of books inside the cafe such as Alex Gonzaga'...

Isla Jardin Del Mar | Gumasa, Saranggani & Sta. Cruz Sidetrip

Image
Last May 12, 2016 we took a visit to Isla Jardin Del Mar in Saranggani Province. Saranggani Province is well known for its beaches and, of course, tuna! Saranggani Province is about 4-5 hours from Davao City. This is the second time I visited Gumasa. The first time was in White Haven Resort. This time, we went to Isla Jardin del Mar for an overnight stay. This resort is far from the communities unlike the other resorts. It looks high end compared to the first resort I've been but it also is affordable. Here are some of the photos I took in the resort. The beach is filled with marine life. The kids even caught fishes. And rich and corals! Look! :) After the beach, we went to GenSan to buy fish and we decided to visit our colleague's house in Sta. Cruz. They also have a river near them. Rivers in rural areas are clean unlike the rivers we see in the cities. We also had buko and saba. Yummy! :) ...
