Malagos Garden Resort 2017

 Malagos Garden Resort is located at Malagos, Calinan, Davao City. Malagos has been in Davao City for quite a long time but recently, they had a revamp of their place. It is also the place of the world famous and award winning Malagos chocolate and the first ever chocolate museum.
Malagos Garden Resort is open from Sunday to Saturday with an entrance fee of Php 200.00 except for Sundays. They have a special package which you can avail every Sunday, for  Php 550.00 per head, you can avail of the Interactive Bird Show (available every Sunday @ 10:30 AM), lunch buffet (starts @ 11 AM) and entrance to the resort.
The resort has plenty to offer from a very informative Science in the Park, Playgrounds, Birds which you can feed for only Php 10.00, Butterfly dome, and many more.



We started our day with the Interactive Bird Show and then we headed straight to the lunch buffet. You'll never regret having spent money on the lunch buffet, it's totally worth it! From the salad bar, vegetable teppanyaki, beef brisket, roasted herbed chicken, the sosyal na isaw(hahaha), pork bbq, biko, palitaw, tableya cake, the house blend tea and many more. You'll surely be full and feel sleepy afterwards (baboy syndrome 😆). 

They also have these large furniture making you feel like you're Alice in wonderland drinking the tiny potion. 




 The place also has so many swings and I love it.

 This is the bird dome. It's filled with facts about birds and birds as well. You can also feed birds in here for just Php 10.00 per pack like we did.

The place also has plenty of instagram worthy places like the Zen Garden where you can take a rest and feel the little Japan Vibes of Calinan.

Just when we thought that Surigao is just made up of beautiful beaches, caves and falls.. We found something extraordinary. Our driver during the Sohoton Trip told us that we could take a look at a place called LaSwitan. To my curiosity, I took a look at it on YouTube and found this. The waves of the Pacific Ocean slaps the large rocks and the water is caught inside like a basin and forms a pool. Amazing, isn't it? So from Hayanggabon Port, we had lunch and at around 2 PM we took the journey to Cortes. From Cortes, we rode a muddy and rocky 7 km road to LaSwitan. Unfortunately, we weren't able to reach it in High tide. So we didn't witness what can be seen in the video. :( So we took photos and climbed the rocks instead. Are you looking for a place away from the busy hustle and bustle of the Davao City? Are you looking for a place to cool down and chill? Thinking about going to Baguio City? Look no further! Davao City's own version of Baguio is just an hour away from the heart of Davao City. What's in there to explore? Plenty actually. And here are just a few of the spots you can visit in Davao City's version of Baguio. We took the tour on a holiday, during the Lunar New Year last February 16. We took of from UM Matina Campus at around 3:30 AM. We weren't really sure of our itinerary since our company just aims to explore BuDa.  We reached our first stop at around 4:30 AM. Roseville Christmas Mansion

The tarpaulin at the entrance. Roseville Christmas Mansion is the newest Christmas Attraction in Davao City. It has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks and yesterday, we finally made a visit.  The place is crowded when we came in at around 7 pm after church on a Sunday. How to get there: Ride a jeepney bound to Damosa. Walk a few meters to get pass the gasoline station where the tricycles bound for Roseville Subdivision is found. Tell the driver to take you to Roseville Christmas Mansion and they'll tell you the vehicle bound there. How much does it cost: It costs Php 30.00 for Adults and Php 20.00 for Kids.
