Emars Wavepool Experience

EMARS WAVEPOOL & BEACH RESORT

Since PAGASA declared the Summer has officially started, we decided to take a dip in the pool and we chose to visit Emar's Wavepool. The resort and hotel can be found at the back of SM City Ecoland.

The entrance to the resort, beside the Emars Hotel.

At the entrance of the resort, the security personnel will check your bag for items which are breakable and for speakers, which are not allowed inside.

The following photo shows the rates of the resort. (Sorry for the blurry photo)

On the entry to the resort, you will be given wristbands which are waterproof.  Photo below was taken after our swimming session. These wristbands were attached by the personnel at the entrance of the resort.

  • Blue wristbands - for regular customers
  • Light green wristbands - for visits (10 minutes)
The following shows the rules and regulations of the resort.

Before we could take a dip in the pool the following can be seen at different entry points of the pool. The small tub on the side of the pool is where you could wash your feet to avoid sand and dirt to get to the pool.

The wavepool runs at approximately 20 - 25 mins. and has a gap of one (1) hour for every time it is activated.

The wavepool has six small slides which kids, teenagers and even adults can use.

 It also has a Jacuzzi.

The maximum depth of the pool, as written on the sides of the pool, is five (5) feet but when we were swimming it is actually deeper even when the wavepool is not active. The pool is secured with four (4) lifeguards who are very attentive to everyone swimming in the pool. They also have life vests which are free of charge and can be used by kids and adults.
Aside from the wavepool, they also have an infinity pool which was, unfortunately, unavailable during the time of our visit because it was undergoing maintenance.

The resort has a pirate theme.
Aside from the pools,  they also have KTV rooms, souvenir shop, function halls and a bar and restaurant.

I could say that the experience was worth the pay. The place was clean, as well as the comfort rooms and shower areas, the shower cubicles were spacious, the environment was filled with green plants, the staffs and crew were approachable. The wavepool, slides and the different amenities which we enjoyed without additional cost were very enjoyable. I just wish they would also allow overnight stay at the resort. All in all, the place was very time worthy and cost worthy. I and my companions would really love to pay this place another visit soon. Hopefully, we could also enjoy the infinity pool.
